    Hello,

Version 11.1 belongs to our Classic toolset, which has been retired in version 11.2. Since we have introduced a number of major changes in order to catch up with the constantly changing web world, having in mind performance, new rendering engines and modern browsers support.

The new controls that we introduced are part of the Aikido frameworks as an descendant of the Classic Toolset.

The Classic controls are retired and in order to migrate to a version that is currently supported this means that you will have to re-write your application logic.

Having this in mind, the effort will be close to starting the application from scratch.

The choice is up to you, you could either use the new controls for ASP that we provide or use more modern technology such as IgniteUI for React or IgniteUI for Web Components. Please note that the ASP Webforms is a legacy product and is currently in maintenance mode, meaning that no new features would be added and it will only receive bug fixes and developer support, since we consider the toolset complete.

On the contrary if you choose to use the more modern technologies, they would still receive new features and we also have a feature requests from customers in our GitHub repositories.

Please let me know if you need any further information regarding this matter.

    Regards,
    Monika Kirkova,
    Infragistics
