I am also facing the same problem. The Grid does not restore the page index to first page on change of Datasource and when Filter is applied.

 

Thank you for your answer, but you are suggesting me a complete re-design of my grid, which seems impossible at this moment. for now, as a work around, I am exporting the document as CSV file.

I will look forward to implement the Aikido based webgrid in future.
